We are hiring a Firmware Engineer to architect and develop the embedded systems powering a distributed marine sensor network. You will work across MCU firmware and embedded Linux, owning projects from board bring-up through full-system integration.
This is a broad firmware role for an engineer who can move comfortably between bare-metal systems, RTOS environments, embedded Linux, hardware debugging, and cloud-connected sensor infrastructure.
What You’ll Do- Architect and develop firmware for a distributed marine sensor network across microcontrollers and embedded Linux systems
- Build and maintain bare-metal and RTOS-based firmware
- Drive firmware architecture decisions and help evolve the embedded software stack
- Own board bring-up, hardware validation, and integration with the broader distributed system
- Partner closely with the electrical engineering team throughout development and testing
- Debug hardware and firmware issues using oscilloscopes, digital multimeters, and logic analyzers
Salary : $200,000 - $240,000
