I’m partnering with a profitable, fast-growing Series A fintech startup on what’s become one of their most critical hires—a founding CPA who wants to operate like an owner, not just an employee.
They’ve already built an AI-powered bookkeeping practice and are scaling quickly with a growing base of recurring customers. Now they’re looking for a CPA who can take what’s working and turn it into a best-in-class operation.
In this role, you will:

Own and oversee the books for a growing portfolio of customers

Build, manage, and improve processes for an outsourced accounting/operations team

Be the primary point of contact for clients, driving exceptional responsiveness, trust, and retention

Partner closely with the founders to refine systems, implement best practices, and help shape the next phase of the product and service
What they’re looking for:

CPA required

Several years of hands-on accounting experience (public accounting and/or tech/fintech exposure a plus)

Comfort working in fast-paced, early-stage environments

Bonus: experience with AI-enabled or automated bookkeeping tools, or a strong interest in working with them
