- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting required, CPA strongly preferred
- 5 years of general accounting experience, ideally including 3 years in public accounting or audit
- Big Four, larger regional public accounting firm, or large-company industry experience strongly preferred
- Management-level SOX experience is highly important, with the ability to handle review responsibilities in a public-company environment
- Strong understanding of GAAP, financial reporting principles, operational accounting, and accounting controls
- Prior people leadership or direct report management experience preferred
- Strong communication, attention to detail, organizational discipline, and ability to work cross-functionally
