What are the responsibilities and job description for the Shipping Clerk position at Accro-seal?
Summary
Package and ship parts so they arrive at the customer safely. Receive incoming raw material adhering to the receiving process. This role requires a high level of organization and attention to detail.
Goals & Objectives
1. Provide quality packaging of finished products and shipping to our customers on time and as soon as available to ship.
2. Correctly decipher and execute all shipping requests including quantity, quality, ship to address and Customer or AccroSeal payment of UPS, FEDEX or other shippers.
3. Check specific customers daily ship request, pull and ship these requested orders.
4. Manage inventory of all stocked and Kanban parts.
5. Utilize company systems to generate all necessary documentation to ship products on time, including daily shipping pick list, back log,sales orders etc
6. Provide final quality check on all documentation, ship to address, freight charges, (ex. COD) and components to the necessary level of thoroughness.
7. Charge and invoice customers for appropriate shipping charges, insurance and sell price of parts.
8. Provide excellent customer service to our internal and external customers, which support 100% on-time delivery and 100% quality to our customers.
9. Ship and receive product cost effectively and efficiently.
10. Continuously improve all aspects of shipping, organization, and processes.

Responsibilities:
· Shipping and Receiving.
· Inventory and Inventory Accuracy
· Accuracy in documentation and all computer entry
· Provide customer service support as assigned by Purchasing Manager
· Proper documentation of all shipping and charges.
· Filing and archiving organization
· Perform any expediting duties in order to best service our cusomters.
· Assist/Check UPS Quantum view
· Assist/check on expedited incoming product.
· Communicate thoroughly within the company face to face and through email.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $16.00 - $19.00 per hour
