Responsibilities for this position include but are not limited to:
- Complies with established safety policies and procedures and other regulations as applicable.
- Orders film and packaging.
- Aware of the various scrap types.
- Operates/troubleshoots recycler.
- Loads film onto the recycler.
- Performs quality checks.
- Reports/corrects nonconforming issues.
- Records/tracks production output.
- Labels gaylord boxes.
- Transports material operating a walkie.
- LOTO recycler, as needed.
- Maintains recycler (i.e. screen change).
- Cleans and ensures the department is maintained in an orderly fashion.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Basic math skills, required. Must pass the New Hire Base Assessment Test, which measures basic arithmetic and mechanical aptitude.
- Able to operate basic tools.
- Ability to read, write and speak in the English language to the extent necessary to effectively communicate and interpret instructions.
- Operating experience in a manufacturing environment required.
- 12-hour shift work experience required.
