We are currently seeking a day shift Lead Maintenance Technician for our Sugar Land, Texas facility. The shift is Monday through Friday with some weekends. Applicants must have an electrical and/or mechanical maintenance background, as well as leadership experience.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities
- Keep crew organized and productive
- Control the efficient operation of all production equipment by leading and organizing the team performing mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and electronic repair and preventive maintenance
- Serve as point of contact for management
- Assure the preventative maintenance program is conducted and report improvements or upgrades to our preventative maintenance schedule
- Provide emergency/ unscheduled repairs promptly to minimize downtime
- Inform the appropriate facility personnel/ supervisor of any necessary modifications or system malfunctions that would affect the area of operation
- Observe all OSHA and facility safety rules and regulations, including the use of personal protective equipment; report all injuries, accidents, and hazards immediately
- Follow all established Food Safety guidelines and GMPs, including maintaining an orderly and clean work environment
- Promote equipment safety and develop programs to respond to unexpected or emergencies
- Read equipment manuals and other sources of information to assure appropriate operation and repair of equipment
- Audit and monitor systems, equipment logs, program logs, and team effectiveness
- Monitor, complete, and maintain efficient and accurate paperwork as needed
- Minimum 5 years of leadership experience
- General electrical and/or mechanical experience
- Experience with multi-layer extrusion equipment, specifically Windmöller & Hölscher (W&H)
- Experience with printing presses, specifically Windmöller & Hölscher (W&H) brand
- Experience with roll slitting machines, specifically Kampf and Deacro brands
- Experience with wicketing machines, specifically LEMO brand
- Experience with pouching machines, specifically Totani brand
- Ability to operate Forklift, Scissor Lift and Articulating Boom Lift
- Experience with Maintenance Connection (CMMS) – a plus
