The Director of FP&A will lead the financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and analysis functions for API Holding, Inc., a mid-sized packaging manufacturer with multi-site operations. This role is critical in driving strategic decision-making, improving financial performance, and supporting growth initiatives across three operating companies under the API Group umbrella, which include five domestic sites and two international locations. The ideal candidate will combine strong analytical and communication skills with a deep understanding of manufacturing operations and cost structures.

Key Responsibilities
- Strategic Planning & Forecasting: Develop and manage annual budgets, long-range financial plans, and rolling forecasts aligned with business objectives.
- Financial Analysis & Reporting: Provide actionable insights through variance analysis, profitability studies, and KPI tracking. Prepare monthly and quarterly management reports.
- Business Partnering: Collaborate with operations, sales, and corporate department teams to optimize pricing, margins, and cost efficiencies.
- Capital Planning: Evaluate capital investment proposals and support ROI analysis for new projects and equipment including post implementation reviews.
- Process Improvement: Implement best practices in FP&A processes, tools, and systems to enhance accuracy and efficiency.
- Leadership: Manage and develop a small FP&A team, fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field; MBA or CPA preferred.
- 8 years of progressive experience in FP&A, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
- Strong knowledge of manufacturing cost accounting and financial modeling.
- Proficiency in ERP systems and advanced Excel; experience with BI tools a plus.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills; ability to influence senior leadership.
