This position is responsible for managing customer orders throughout the entire order lifecycle, coordinating with internal departments, proactively communicating with customers, and resolving issues in a professional and timely manner.

Essential Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary contact for assigned customer accounts, building and maintaining strong relationships with both customers and internal teams.
- Manage customer orders from receipt through shipment, ensuring accuracy and timely execution.
- Provide customers with updates regarding order status, inventory availability, production schedules, and shipping information.
- Coordinate with Planning, Production, Scheduling, Logistics, Quality, and Sales teams to meet customer requirements and delivery expectations.
- Research and resolve customer concerns related to orders, inventory, production, shipments, and invoicing.
- Proactively identify potential service issues and communicate solutions before they impact the customer.
- Monitor open orders and customer demand to ensure timely fulfillment and accurate delivery commitments.
- Maintain and update customer records, reports, and account information within company systems.
- Analyze data and utilize reporting tools to support customer needs and operational decision-making.
- Effectively manage a high-volume email inbox and multiple priorities while maintaining attention to detail.
- Participate in customer meetings, site visits, sales meetings, and other cross-functional activities as needed.
- Consistently demonstrate professionalism, accountability, and a commitment to exceptional customer service.
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree preferred; equivalent work experience will be considered.
- Minimum of 2 years of customer service, account management, order management, or customer support experience in a manufacturing environment strongly preferred.
- Experience supporting B2B customers and managing customer orders.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to communicate professionally across all levels of an organization.
- Excellent problem-solving, organizational, and follow-through skills.
- Ability to prioritize, multitask, and adapt in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience working with ERP systems; Microsoft Dynamics NAV, Business Central, or similar manufacturing software preferred.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Outlook.
- Understanding of inventory management, production scheduling, and supply chain processes is a plus.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
- Ability to work collaboratively across multiple departments to achieve customer and business objectives.
