J&J Calibration is looking for a motivated and detail-oriented team member to join us in a part-time Shipping & Receiving / Delivery Driver role. No extensive experience required — just a great attitude, reliability, and a valid driver’s license!
What You’ll Do
In the Lab (Shipping & Receiving):
- Receive and check incoming equipment against work orders and packing lists
- Document equipment condition and flag any damage or missing parts
- Enter equipment info into our system and generate work orders
- Apply labels, barcodes, and tracking tags to keep everything organized
- Communicate with customers and team members about any discrepancies
- Keep the receiving area clean, organized, and safe
On the Road (Delivery Driver):
- Drive our company vehicle to pick up and deliver customer equipment
- Follow planned routes and ensure on-time, accurate deliveries
- Handle equipment carefully and follow all traffic laws
- Keep the vehicle clean and do basic upkeep (tire pressure, oil checks)
- Represent J&J Calibration with friendly, professional customer service
What We’re Looking For:
- A valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
- Strong attention to detail — accuracy matters here!
- Good communication skills and a customer-first attitude
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and navigate stairs
- Comfortable driving in varying weather and route conditions
- Basic computer/data entry skills
- Any prior driving, delivery, warehouse, or customer service experience is a plus — but we’re happy to train the right person!
