Location: Northeast Ohio & Western Pennsylvania
Day to Day Responsibilities:
- Calibrate, maintain, inspect, and repair mechanical and electronic weighing equipment
- Perform all duties in accordance with ISO 17025 standards
- Travel to customer sites to conduct accurate and timely calibrations
- Interact with customers professionally throughout the entire calibration process
- Maintain complete and accurate calibration records and documentation
- Communicate effectively with customers and internal team members
- Ensure compliance with quality and regulatory standards
- Mechanical and technical aptitude – you learn hands-on tasks quickly
- Ability to adapt to different work environments (labs, manufacturing sites, etc.)
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Clear, respectful, and professional communication style
- Positive attitude, punctuality, and integrity
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Able to lift to 50 lbs. and perform physical tasks (climbing, kneeling, standing)
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel and Word as well as data entry.
- Excellent customer service skills.
- Good organizational and prioritization skills.
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record
- Willingness to travel across Northeast Ohio and Western Pennsylvania
- Experience calibrating or repairing weighing equipment
- Understanding of metrology principles, quality systems, or ISO standards
- Experience with mechanical, electrical, or physical calibration of equipment
- Degree or certificate in engineering, electronics, or related technical fields
- Military PMEL training or prior metrology experience
- Familiarity with calibration software like IndySoft
