Accounting Now is hiring a Construction Accountant for a full-time, on-site role in Flower Mound, TX. We’re looking for an experienced professional with a strong background in commercial construction accounting to support financial operations across multiple projects. This role plays a key part in ensuring accuracy in job costing, reporting, and compliance.
Key Responsibilities:
• Manage AP/AR, vendor and subcontractor invoicing
• Oversee job costing, budgeting, and project financial tracking
• Process payroll (including certified payroll) and maintain compliance
• Handle tax reporting, W-2s/1099s, and insurance audits
• Prepare AIA billings, track retainage, and support collections
• Assist with month-end close, audits, and financial reporting
Requirements:
• 3 years of accounting experience in commercial construction
• Proficiency in QuickBooks Online and Procore
• Strong knowledge of job costing, AIA billing, and sales tax
