Job Description:
The Project Manager (System Implementation) is responsible for leading and coordinating all aspects of an ERP system implementation. This role serves as the central point of contact between internal stakeholders and external consultants, ensuring alignment, accountability, and timely execution of project milestones.
Key Responsibilities:
- Serve as the primary point of contact between internal teams and external implementation consultants
- Act as the liaison with executive leadership, including finance and accounting stakeholders
- Lead and facilitate weekly project meetings, ensuring clear communication of progress, risks, and action items
- Drive project timelines to meet the targeted go-live date
- Oversee and participate in user acceptance testing (UAT), ensuring system functionality meets business requirements
- Support data mapping, validation, and migration processes
- Provide regular status updates to executive leadership, including risks, delays, and mitigation strategies
- Assist with data analysis, reporting, and data polling as needed to support implementation efforts
- Identify and resolve project roadblocks to keep the implementation on track
Qualifications:
- Proven experience managing ERP or system implementation projects
- Experience working in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
- Exposure to accounting or finance systems; high-level understanding of accounting concepts preferred
- Familiarity with ERP systems (experience with Sage Intacct or similar platforms preferred)
- Experience with data mapping, system testing (UAT), and implementation workflows
- Strong analytical skills, including the ability to interpret and work with data
- Strong project management and organizational skills
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities
- Ability to coordinate across multiple teams and levels of leadership
- Problem-solving mindset with the ability to adapt to changing priorities
