Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and execute monthly close processes, including journal entries and account reconciliations
- Prepare monthly financial statements and internal reports
- Maintain general ledger accuracy across multiple entities and development projects
- Coordinate and prepare packages for external stakeholders
- Assist with year-end audits and tax filings in collaboration with external partners
- Support financial modeling, budget-to-actual comparisons, and ad hoc analysis
- Contribute to the development and improvement of internal accounting policies and procedures
- Partner cross-functionally on initiatives related to acquisitions, development, and operations
Ideal Candidate Profile:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
- 1–2 years of experience in a Big 4 or large national public accounting firm
- Ideal for candidates with public accounting as their primary professional experience post-graduation
- CPA license (or actively pursuing)
- Strong Excel skills (pivot tables, lookups, data analysis tools)
- Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills
- Strong interpersonal communication and team collaboration abilities
- Experience in real estate, construction, or development is a plus
