Nightingale Private Care (an AccordCare Company) is an accredited private duty home health agency and we are looking for experienced per diem field Registered Nurses to provide quality patient care. We have openings in the Vero Beach office.

POSITION SUMMARY
The RN will work in the office and in the field to provide the highest quality of care to clients utilizing the Plan of Care provided to ensure clients needs are met in relation to safety, well-being and satisfaction.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
- Provides safe and effective personal care for the client based on individualized Plan of Care prepared by nurse and available in the clients home.
- On occasion drive/escort client to and from appointments/activities as requested, resulting in a safe and timely transport
- Provides prompt communication of changes in client medical status/emergencies to Nurse Supervisor resulting in effective management of cases.
- Provides safe and effective nursing and personal care for the client, based on the nursing scope of practice and individualized Plan of Care in conjunction with Nurse Supervisor/Manager of Clinical Practice. May include, but not limited to, medication administration, transferring & positioning client, catheter care, effective communication with the client, family, and Nursing Supervisor.
- Occasionally completes client assessments and supervisory visits.
- Demonstrate empathy, caring and self-confidence; ability to pay attention to details resulting in thorough follow through; anticipate problems in advance and know whether to diffuse or escalate; prioritize and demonstrate a sense of urgency.
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE & EDUCATION
- Current RN license
- Excellent communication skills; team player; interpersonal skills; good collaboration skills; customer service skills; ability to use the electronic health record for documentation and communication regarding client care.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
- current and clear Level 2 background screening with AHCA
- current TB (within last year) / Chest X- Ray (good for 5 years)
- current CPR
- proof of vaccine / exemption (medical or religious)
Qualifications
Salary : $58,000 - $73,400
