Summary
We are seeking a Data Architect with 15 years of experience in data modeling and cloud data platforms, especially Databricks, within the Healthcare Payer domain. The role focuses on designing scalable, secure, and compliant data architectures for analytics and reporting.
Key Responsibilities
Design enterprise data architecture (conceptual, logical, and physical models)
Build scalable solutions using Databricks (Delta Lake / Lakehouse)
Work with healthcare payer data (Claims, Enrollment, Member, Provider, Benefits)
Define data governance, standards, and data quality frameworks
Support cloud migration and modernization initiatives
Collaborate with engineering and analytics teams
Ensure HIPAA compliance and data security
Required Skills
15 years in data architecture/data modeling
Strong experience in Databricks, Spark, SQL, PySpark
Healthcare payer domain expertise
Experience with AWS/Azure/Google Cloud Platform
Strong knowledge of data warehousing and data lake concepts
Understanding of HIPAA and healthcare data security
Preferred Skills
HL7, EDI X12, or FHIR experience
BI tools (Power BI / Tableau)
Delta Lake and Unity Catalog knowledge
Education
Bachelor’s or Master’s in Computer Science or related field
