Role Overview
- Language pair: English to Norwegian (EN > nb-NO)
- Location: 100% Remote
- Employment Type: Freelance / independent contractor / Ongoing Project
- Immediate Workflow: This is a long-term, ongoing account. We have active production volume ready for assignment immediately upon successful onboarding
- Service Types: Translation, Machine Translation Post-Editing (MTPE), and Linguistic Revision/Review
- Translate, post-edit, and revise e-commerce content from English into Norwegian with a focus on natural, precise, and contextually accurate language
- Ensure strict adherence to technical terminology, style guides, and client-specific glossaries
- Collaborate efficiently with our Project Management team and provide constructive linguistic feedback to optimize localized workflows
- Maintain rigorous quality standards while consistently hitting agreed-upon project deadlines
- Native-level proficiency in Norwegian
- Strong English proficiency for English-to-Norwegian translation
- Bachelor's degree in Translation, Linguistics, or a related discipline preferred
- Experience in translation, localization, or MTPE
- Translation experience with product descriptions and e-commerce content preferred
- Experience with AI data annotation or AI-related validation tasks is a plus
