What are the responsibilities and job description for the Software Engineer (2025-0123) position at Acclaim Technical Services?
We are actively hiring a Software Engineer with TS/SCI clearance and polygraph supporting a new contract recently awarded in Reston, VA.
Selected individual will have at least 2 years’ experience in design, development, documentation, and testing and debugging applications software and systems that contain logical and mathematical solutions. They conduct multidisciplinary research and collaborates with equipment designers and/or hardware engineers in the planning, design, development, and utilization of electronic data processing systems. They determine computer user needs. They analyze system capabilities to resolve problems on program intent, output requirements, input data acquisition, programming techniques and controls. They support the creation of maintenance manuals and operating instructions. They design and develop compilers and assemblers, utility programs, and operating systems. They ensure software standards compliance. They support network integration issues and maximizing system performance to include diagnostics and resolution. They evaluate system performance and recommend improvements to address field issues and plan for long- term viability of system while minimizing cost. They code and test software for digital products that support the mission. They create software capabilities to support the conduction of activities in computer network operations, reverse engineering, and application interfaces while identifying capability gaps relative to analytics systems data ingest processing enrichment.
