Position: Laundry Aide
Location: Jersey City, NJ
Shift: Full-Time | 6:00 AM – 2:00 PM
Pay Rate: $15.49/hr

At Acclaim Rehab and Nursing Center, we believe every role contributes to the comfort, dignity, and well-being of our residents. As a Laundry Aide, you’ll play a vital role in maintaining the cleanliness, organization, and proper care of resident clothing while ensuring each resident feels at home.
Key Responsibilities:
Maintain control and accountability of resident clothing.
Distribute freshly washed clothing daily, ensuring accuracy of names and room numbers; relabel items as needed.
Organize and maintain residents’ closets.
Maintain a clean, sanitary, and organized laundry area.
Interact with residents, families, and staff in a professional and respectful manner.
Prepare and review documentation accurately.
Requirements:
1 year of laundry or related experience preferred (on-the-job training provided).
Ability to make independent decisions, follow instructions, and accept constructive feedback.
Willingness to learn new methods and incorporate them into daily practices.
Ability to handle cleaning supplies and follow safety guidelines.
