What are the responsibilities and job description for the Staff Electrical Engineer position at Accident Reconstruction Analysis, PLLC?
We’re hiring a Staff Electrical Engineer for our forensic engineering team. The role is hands-on: you’ll investigate electrical failures, perform field inspections, document evidence, analyze components, and produce clear, defensible reports and testify to them. Some areas of work may include power distribution systems, wiring analysis, electro-mechanical component analysis, post-fire electrical evaluations, and automotive electrical/system diagnostics.
Requirements:
- B.S. in Electrical Engineering or P.E. with an electrical specialization.
- Five or more years of experience in forensic work, industrial power, utilities, heavy electrical, or automotive electrical systems.
- Strong analytical and technical writing skills are essential.
- Must be comfortable with fieldwork, tools, and hands-on inspections in fire scenes.
- P.E. or the ability to obtain one.
