Client Intake Specialist

Overview
Accident Law Group is seeking a Client Intake Specialist to serve as the first point of contact for prospective clients. This individual will play a critical role in shaping the client experience by conducting initial consultations, evaluating potential claims, and ensuring smooth onboarding.
Because this position involves converting inquiries into active cases, strong communication and basic sales skills are essential. The ideal candidate is empathetic, confident, and skilled at building trust with potential clients while representing the firm professionally.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct initial interviews with prospective clients via phone, online, or in person to gather case details and personal information.
- Use active listening and persuasive communication to effectively convert inquiries into signed cases when appropriate.
- Perform preliminary research and assessments to determine the merit of potential claims.
- Evaluate client eligibility and align potential cases with firm criteria.
- Oversee new client onboarding and maintain accurate client records through diligent data collection and documentation.
- Manage ongoing communication with clients during the intake process to ensure all necessary information is received and recorded.
- Schedule appointments and consultations with attorneys and/or the clinical review nurse.
- Serve as a liaison between clients and attorneys during the intake phase, providing timely updates and clear communication.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to support outbound referral strategies and partnerships with other firms to generate new cases.
- Perform a variety of administrative and clerical support functions including transcription, research, spreadsheet management, and email correspondence to ensure smooth daily operations.
Qualifications & Skills
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a law firm intake or similar client-facing role.
- Strong communication, active listening, interpersonal, and basic sales skills.
- Ability to build rapport and gain trust with prospective clients.
- Excellent organizational skills with keen attention to detail.
- Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
- Proficiency with legal software, CRM systems, and Microsoft Office Suite.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree preferred.
- Bilingual in English and Spanish strongly preferred but not required.
