Job Title: Operations Manager

Status: Non-Exempt Classification: Full-Time Position Overview: The Lead Community Coach at AccessStar Community Living Services plays a pivotal role in ensuring the well-being and quality of life for individuals with intellectual disabilities. This position involves flexible scheduling, acting as a mentor to Community Coach staff, and providing hands-on training. The Lead Community Coach assists with scheduling and offers coverage during staffing shortages or special events, ensuring the health and safety of all individuals supported.
Key Responsibilities: Scheduling and Coordination: Collaborate with the Program Manager to prepare and update staff schedules, prioritizing individual needs and minimizing overtime. Facilitate activity planning, encouraging individual participation in activities, and individual meetings. Transport individuals to various appointments, events, and activities as required. Training and Support: Provide guidance and training to Community Coaches on Individual Service Plans (ISPs), documentation, and other aspects to enhance program quality. Ensure Community Coaches understand and implement ISP requirements on a daily basis. Offer training and support in personal hygiene, communication, socialization, and community engagement. Documentation and Reporting: Monitordocumentation for accuracy and completeness, addressing any issues promptly. Maintainrequired documentation and records, including monthly and quarterly reports. Manageanddocumentemergencysituations, notifying appropriate staff. Individual Support and Empowerment: Ensureindividuals supported have autonomy in daily choices and maintain a safe and clean environment. Providehands-on assistance and support to individuals with Intellectual Disabilities in activities of daily living, including personal hygiene, communication, socialization, and community engagement. Implementanddocumentthecriteria of behavioral support plans for individuals supported, participating in their development and adjustment as necessary. Encourageindividuals supported to participate in social, educational, and recreational activities, maintaining an activities calendar. Relationship Management: Fosterprofessional relationships with colleagues, families/guardians, and external parties. Reportmaintenance needs of the facility to the Administrative Office. Procure necessary materials following established procedures. Administrative Support: Assist in developing ISPs and implement their requirements on a daily basis. Requisition needed materials such as office supplies, activity supplies, latex gloves, etc., in accordance with established procedures. Continuous Improvement: Provideinput for the development of annual Individual Service Plans (ISP) for each individual supported. Addressissues in documentation promptly to ensure quality standards are met. Attendrelevant and scheduled staff meetings to stay updated and contribute to program improvement.
Qualifications:Qualifications: Highschool diploma or equivalent; associate or bachelor's degree preferred in administrative support roles, preferably in an office setting. Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and other office software. Strong organizational, multitasking, and time management skills. Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving abilities. Attention to detail and ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team. Other Duties as assigned. Reporting Structure: The Lead Community Coach reports directly to the Program Manager and collaborates closely with other administrative staff members.
