Job Summary
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Caregiver to join our home care team. The ideal candidate will provide essential support to Clients in a home setting. This role involves assisting with daily living activities, monitoring Client health, and ensuring a safe and comfortable environment for all Clients. The Caregiver will work closely with registered nurses and other healthcare professionals to deliver high-quality Client care.

Responsibilities
- Assist Clients with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and eating.
- Provide emotional support and companionship to Clients.
- Assist with mobility and transfers.
- Maintain a clean and safe environment for Clients by adhering to infection control protocols.
- Document Client care activities accurately.
- Communicate effectively with Clients, families, and healthcare team members regarding Client needs and changes in condition.
- Support Clients with medication reminders.
- Participate in training programs to enhance skills in areas such as dementia care, hospice care, and critical care experience.
Skills
Candidates should possess a combination of required and preferred skills to excel in this role:

- CPR and First Aid certification
- Experience in critical care settings or long-term care environments.
- Knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, physiology, and HIPAA regulations.
- Familiarity with caregiving techniques for individuals with developmental disabilities or Alzheimer’s disease.
- Experience working in various healthcare settings which can include hospitals, outpatient clinics, home care, geriatrics, or behavioral health environments.
- Strong interpersonal skills to effectively interact with patients of all ages and backgrounds.
- Basic life support certification is preferred.
