Role Overview

The Nuclear Medicine Tech is responsible for performing diagnostic imaging procedures using nuclear medicine techniques. They ensure accurate patient preparation, operate imaging equipment, and adhere to safety and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct nuclear medicine imaging procedures in accordance with clinical protocols.
• Prepare patients and explain procedures to ensure comfort and compliance.
• Operate and maintain imaging equipment, ensuring optimal functionality.
• Follow safety guidelines for radiation protection for patients and staff.
• Document and report imaging results accurately.
• Maintain clinical documentation and assist with quality assurance.
  
  

Qualifications & Skills

• Valid ARRT, NMTCB certifications, and BLS certification.
• Knowledge of nuclear medicine procedures, safety protocols, and equipment.
• Strong attention to detail and patient care skills.
