Role: Emergency Department Educator
Responsibilities: Provide high-quality, evidence-based education to clinical and non-clinical staff. Develop and implement policies, procedures, and new skills. Validate competencies across disciplines and onboard new team members. Conduct training sessions such as Nurse Residency, Preceptor Workshops, CNA Workshops, and specialty programs. Attend departmental meetings and coordinate with clinical departments on projects.
Qualifications & Skills: Must understand adult learning principles, communicate effectively across all staff levels, and foster enthusiasm for learning. Flexibility to work various hours and shifts. Proficiency in PowerPoint, Excel, email, and electronic medical records is preferred.
Experience & Education: Minimum five years of full-time RN experience in a hospital, with BSN required and Master’s preferred. Current California RN license and BLS certification mandatory.
