- Preparing, administering, and measuring radioactive isotopes under physician guidance
- Performing SPECT and PET imaging, especially for cardiac studies
- Operating and maintaining nuclear imaging equipment with proper calibration
- Conducting cardiac imaging to identify abnormalities
- Managing patient histories, explaining procedures, and ensuring safety and comfort
- Calculating and documenting radiopharmaceutical doses accurately
- Performing quality control, maintaining compliance, and handling radioactive materials safely
- Maintaining accurate records to support accreditation
- Current certification and licensure (NMTCB or ARRT-N)
- Knowledge of nuclear imaging procedures and radiation safety
- Experience with SPECT and PET imaging preferred, especially in cardiac applications
- Attention to detail, safety, and compliance
- Excellent communication and patient care skills
- Experience in cardiology or outpatient settings
