As a Nuclear Medicine-PET/CT Technologist, you will perform diagnostic imaging exams using specialized equipment, working closely with healthcare professionals to ensure accurate results.
Key responsibilities include: maintaining competency in clinical and technical functions, verifying patient identity, preparing patients, executing exams per protocols, reviewing image quality, adhering to radiation safety regulations, documenting procedures, and providing patient education.
Essential skills: expertise in radiopharmaceuticals, radiation safety, equipment operation, image evaluation, anatomy, emergency response, teamwork, and communication.
Qualifications: current state license, ARRT or NMTCB certification, BLS and IV certifications, and at least one year of clinical Nuclear Medicine experience. Preferred qualifications include PET/CT experience and a bachelor’s degree.
Physical demands: ability to read labels, operate equipment, lift and transfer patients, stand for extended periods, and navigate busy environments.
Location & Compensation: based in Utah, with an hourly rate ranging from $43.09 to $66.47, including a comprehensive benefits package.
