Role: Long Term Care RN responsible for providing skilled nursing care in a facility setting.
Responsibilities: Assess resident health, develop and implement care plans, administer medications and treatments, supervise nursing staff, educate residents and families, document care, respond to emergencies, and collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure quality, resident-centered care while adhering to safety and regulatory standards.
Qualifications & Skills: Minimum one year of recent LTC RN experience, valid RN license, current BLS/CPR certification, critical thinking, excellent communication, physical ability to perform tasks, and ability to work under pressure. Preferred certifications include ACLS.
Key Duties: Monitor patient condition, perform skilled procedures (wound care, IV therapy, etc.), delegate tasks, ensure compliance with policies, and maintain thorough documentation.
