Key Responsibilities
- Oversee nursing staff, assign tasks, monitor performance, and ensure adequate staffing.
- Participate in policy updates, quality assurance, surveys, and committee meetings.
- Ensure compliance with safety, sanitation, and infection control standards.
- Manage resident admissions, discharges, assessments, and care planning.
- Provide direct care when needed and monitor medication/treatment schedules.
- Develop staff training, foster teamwork, and promote resident rights and dignity.
- Recommend equipment and supply needs, participate in budget planning, and maintain safety protocols.
- Nursing Degree (RN or LPN/LVN) with current licensure.
- Experience in long-term care or related settings preferred.
- Strong leadership, decision-making, and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently, handle stressful situations, and relate effectively with residents and staff.
- Physical capability to move, lift, and respond to emergency situations.
