- Cleaning assigned areas using germicidal solutions, including furniture, fixtures, walls, ceilings, and windows.
- Stripping and making patient beds, sweeping, mopping floors, vacuuming carpets, and cleaning in outpatient and sterile processing areas following departmental procedures.
- Completing scheduled procedures accurately and reporting incomplete tasks for continuity.
- Collecting and sanitizing waste, including hazardous waste, and handling soiled linen.
- Climbing ladders to reach high areas and arranging furniture for meetings or events.
- Ability to lift 50 pounds and be mobile.
- Read and understand verbal and written instructions.
- Perform basic arithmetic calculations.
- Adhere to OSHA, CDC, and infection control standards, including proper PPE use.
- Successfully complete a 90-day probationary period.
