CRNA - Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist

Position Overview: Provides anesthesia under the supervision of an anesthesiologist for various surgical and diagnostic procedures, including cardio-thoracic surgeries and cardiac catheterizations. Participates in clinical instruction of nurse anesthesia students.

Qualifications: Graduate from an accredited Nurse Anesthesia Program; certification as a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) by the relevant nursing board; current certifications in ACLS, BLS, and PALS from the American Heart Association.

Key Responsibilities

• Administer anesthesia for surgical and diagnostic procedures
• Assist in patient monitoring and care during procedures
• Contribute to clinical education of nurse anesthesia students
  
  

Skills and Requirements: Strong knowledge of anesthesia techniques, patient safety, and emergency protocols. Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team and adhere to certification and licensing standards.
