- Assists with room setup, instrument and equipment preparation, and turnover to minimize downtime.
- Operates equipment safely and ensures all tools are in working order.
- Supports patient-specific needs and assists nursing and anesthesia staff as required.
- Implements safety protocols, including asepsis and hazard prevention.
- Performs supportive duties for smooth department operations.
- High school diploma or equivalent; graduate of approved allied health or surgical tech program.
- CPR certification required; BLS and national certification within 18 months.
- Preferred: Operating room experience.
- Strong knowledge of asepsis, safety procedures, and equipment operation.
