Direct Support Professional, Residential - New and Increased Hourly Wage
Reports to: Individual Residential Alternative (IRA) Program Manager
Location: Onondaga County
Schedule: Part Time & Full Time Schedules Available
Pay: $21.03-$24.06 per hour

Our focus is supporting individuals by ways of residential housing, mental health and clinical services, and immersing our participants in community engagement. Working closely with the Office for People with Developmental Disabilities and the Office of Mental Health, we support 27 housing locations and 3 administrative buildings.
About the Role:
We are looking for a proactive employee to assist participants with their personal needs and Activities of Daily Living (ADL); monitoring their health and safety; helping them to increase self-advocacy, decision making, and community connections.
Responsibilities:
- Supporting participants with activities of daily living (ADL)
- Encouraging skill building activities
- Monitoring health and safety, building advocacy, decision making, and community connections
- Encouraging participant engagement in social networks and communities
Education/Experience:
High school diploma/GED preferred. One year experience working with people with disabilities in a certified residential setting preferred
Conditions of Employment
Must possess a valid drivers license and transportation necessary to meet program needs. Must be able to lift 75 pounds.
