What are the responsibilities and job description for the Patient Service Representative/Medical Assistant position at ACCESS UROLOGY?
Access Urology is seeking a medical assistant or administrative assistant to join our practice. You will be working side-by-side with a board-certified Urologist in providing medical and surgical care to patients in need. No experience is required, as we are willing to train you in all aspects of Urology/Surgery. There is work flexibility and opportunities to build a rewarding career with us.

Roles:
- Greet and check-in patients upon arrival, obtain health forms and insurance cards.
- Answer patient calls including scheduling appointments and triaging patient questions.
- Obtain insurance authorizations and check insurance coverage benefits.
- Escort patients to exam rooms and ask about their chief complaint and history, recording in to the electronic health record.
- First assist in basic procedures
- Process surgical equipment and clean patient rooms.
- Take down basic patient information and physical exam findings
- Participate in team meetings
Others:
- Bilingual in Spanish or Mandarin/Cantonese preferred
- Outstanding people skills and a warm, friendly manner.
Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour
