What are the responsibilities and job description for the Certified Home Health Aide (CHHA) - Hospice position at Access TLC?
Access TLC Hospice is currently seeking Certified Home Health Aides (CHHA) for hospice visits. In this role, you will visit patients in their homes or nursing facilities and visit multiple patients per day.
Position is per diem; $30 per visit made. Mileage is reimbursed at the current IRS rate
Position Responsibilities:
- Assist patients with all Activities of Daily Living (ADL's), including eating, dressing, bathing, toileting, brief changes, repositioning, activities, and all personal care and grooming;
- Make beds, change linens and keep patient rooms/areas organized and tidy;
- Ability to show genuine kindness and respect to our patients and always ensure their dignity and privacy;
- Demonstrate proper patient lifting and transferring skills;
- Maintain a positive attitude, and demonstrate ability to work well within a team and independently;
- Ability to complete tasks in a timely manner and to demonstrate strong time management skills;
- Ability to take direction from RN Case Managers and Supervisors

Requirements:
- Current and valid California Certified Home Health Aide Certificate (CHHA)
- Current CPR certification
- Must have a California Driver’s License, satisfactory driving record and a vehicle that is insured in accordance with state/or organization requirements.
