General Shop Helper
This role is responsible for maintaining a clean, safe, and well-organized environment in our Boston Shop and Warehouse, supporting daily operations and overall workplace safety.
What you will do:
- Maintain cleanliness of main aisles in the shop and warehouse, ensuring a safe work environment without disrupting ongoing operations
- Remove scrap wood and sawdust from around saws and dispose of materials properly
- Empty trash receptacles throughout the shop as needed
- Replace light bulbs as necessary and conduct routine checks to ensure proper lighting
- Operate trash and cardboard compactors after completing required training
- Assist with office moves and setup as needed
- Perform additional duties as assigned
Qualifications:
What we would love to see:
- Ability to lift up to 60 pounds
- Comfortable operating a shop vacuum and similar equipment
- Ability to read and speak English
- Valid driver’s license required
- Availability to work Monday through Friday, 15–20 hours per week
Salary : $15 - $17
