Location: Newburgh, NY

Pay Rate: $17.50 per hour

Hours: Monday-Friday 8:30AM-5:00PM with Flexibility (40hrs)

Overview Of Primary Responsibilities

In this role, you will support the Caseworker by assisting with client services and day-to-day tasks.

Primary Functions

In this role you will:

• Function as an assistant to the Caseworker
• Provide transportation for clients to medical appointments/Family Court or other appointments deemed necessary by the supervisor
• Assist caseworkers with transporting of families and supervise visitation between parent and child when such is required by the Orange County Department of Social Services
• Perform a variety of clerical duties while at the job site.
  
  

Qualifications And Attributes

The ideal candidate will have:

• Valid driver’s license is required
• Have good communication skills and the ability to work with families from diverse cultures and backgrounds
  
  

Education And Experience

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.

• Must be capable to sit or stand in front of a computer for long-periods of time
• Able to work in open space floor plan
• Must be capable to move throughout work day and follow people served throughout community
• Work alongside co-workers within 3 feet
• Must be able to move in tight spaces
