Inclusion Support Staff (Paraprofessional / Teacher Assistant)
Join our inclusive education team!
We’re seeking a compassionate, collaborative, and neurodiversity-affirming support staff member to work with children of all abilities in our inclusive education programs. This role is ideal for individuals who are passionate about supporting autistic and neurodivergent students in classroom and community settings that honor each learner’s strengths, communication style, and autonomy.
As part of the Autism Included team, you’ll work closely with licensed Speech-Language Pathologists, educators, and Inclusion Specialists to help create supportive, accessible learning environments. You’ll assist with individualized student goals, provide in-class support, model inclusive practices, and promote meaningful participation for all students.

Key Responsibilities:
- Support students in inclusive classroom and community settings.
- Encourage participation, independence, and communication using affirming strategies.
- Collaborate with teachers, therapists, and families to promote success across environments.
- Implement support plans under the direction of licensed professionals.
- Help create positive, accepting spaces for all learners.
Requirements:
- A compassionate, flexible, and neurodiversity-positive approach.
- Experience or education in special education, early childhood, childcare, or a related field.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Willingness to learn, collaborate, and grow as part of a multidisciplinary team.
- Dependability, patience, and a genuine interest in inclusion and accessibility.
Preferred but not required:
- Experience supporting autistic or disabled students.
- Familiarity with communication supports (e.g., AAC).
- Coursework or certification as an SLPA, OTA, or paraprofessional.
