Job Summary
We are seeking a proactive and skilled Facilities Maintenance Technician to ensure the optimal operation, safety, and upkeep of our facilities. In this dynamic role, you will be responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting issues promptly, and performing repairs that keep our environment safe, efficient, and welcoming. Your expertise will help support our operational excellence and contribute to a productive workplace environment.
Responsibilities
- Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance on facilities infrastructure to ensure optimal performance
- Ability to lift 100 lbs safely
- Flexible Team player who is quick to pivot with the needs of the business
- Excellent customer service skills and attention to detail especially in term of numbers when assisting with inventory or delivery
- Conduct mechanical maintenance tasks such as landscaping, carpentry, plumbing system repairs, and building interior/exterior upkeep.
- Ability to be proficient with the use, maintenance, and repair of equipment such as riding mowers, push mowers, trimmers, snow blower, snow plows and other related equipment
- Operate hand tools and specialized equipment to carry out maintenance tasks efficiently and safely
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities using Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) and update maintenance logs regularly.
- Maintain facilities equipment used for building interior and exterior maintenance.
- Maintain general repair duties to uphold facility standards.
- Skilled at moving and backing up lifts, trailers, bobcats safely in small spaces
- Follow safety protocols diligently while working with electrical systems, plumbing, or mechanical components to prevent accidents or hazards.
- Proven experience in facilities maintenance or related fields.
- Strong mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience in basic electrical work, plumbing system maintenance, carpentry, and painting.
- Ability to perform maintenance painting and interior/exterior repairs in residential or commercial settings
- Strong communication skills in English for clear documentation
- Valid technical certifications to electrical work, metal fabrication, HVAC systems, plumbing or welding are advantageous but not mandatory
Pay: $25.00 - $40.00 per hour
