Senior Infrastructure Engineer

Network Engineering & Architecture (Primary Focus)

• Own the design, deployment, and continuous optimization of the firm's network infrastructure including core and edge switches, routers, firewalls, VPNs, VLANs, and wireless environments
• Architect and maintain low-latency network topologies supporting high-frequency and automated trading systems — including co-location facilities, cross-connects, and direct market access connectivity
• Manage and optimize core network services: DNS, DHCP, NTP, BGP/OSPF routing, multicast distribution, and PKI/certificate infrastructure
• Monitor network performance continuously — proactively identify and resolve latency, packet loss, jitter, and congestion issues before they impact trading operations
• Implement and maintain network segmentation, ACLs, firewall policies, and security zones aligned with the firm's risk and compliance requirements
• Coordinate with carriers, ISPs, co-location providers, and market data vendors on circuit provisioning, SLA management, and performance optimization
• Drive low-latency performance tuning initiatives across the network stack — including kernel bypass, DPDK, SR-IOV, PTP/IEEE 1588 time synchronization, and NIC optimization
• Evaluate, test, and integrate new network hardware and technologies to maintain a competitive edge in trading infrastructure performance
• Develop and maintain comprehensive network documentation including topology diagrams, IP addressing schemes, change procedures, and disaster recovery runbooks

Systems Administration (Supporting Role

• )Administer the firm's Linux server fleet: provisioning, patching, package management, storage, and performance tuning in support of trading and infrastructure workload
• sPerform OS-level performance tuning, capacity planning, log analysis, and root-cause analysis on Linux hosts — particularly where system performance intersects with network latenc
