Position Overview

Access Sciences has established strategic partnerships with consulting companies offering complementary services to our own. Our goal is to fill the gaps in our offerings, providing a single, integrated service to a client or prospect based on our combined capabilities. We seek to aggressively pursue opportunities with our partner companies as well as identify new partnerships to extend our market reach.

In addition, Access Sciences is a pre-qualified service provider for certain state and local governments. This role will proactively identify appropriate opportunities through these government contracting vehicles.

Key responsibilities for the Partnership Manager role include:

  • Conduct market analysis to understand industry trends and potential and use insights to shape near-term and long-term goals for the Access Sciences partner network
  • Develop and execute a partnership strategy inclusive of services and products, go-to-market strategies, and skillset or resource needs to execute any awarded work
  • Grow and develop partner-specific strategies to actively manage and leverage existing partner relationships
  • Vet potential partners and make recommendations to the Leadership Team (i.e., conduct a go-no-go evaluation) and move forward with pursuing, shaping, and contracting any agreed new partnership opportunities
  • Actively manage and leverage existing government contracting vehicles and recommend new agency pools based on Company strategic growth objectives
  • Qualify prospects and shape opportunities and contribute to proposal development as needed
  • Monitor personal performance against established KPIs within Access Sciences' Customer Relationship Management (CRM) tool and continuously evaluate process improvements
  • Collaborate with the Marketing department and practice directors to develop marketing messages, participate in sector-specific conferences and other marketing events, and support campaigns

Qualifications

Education:

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in Marketing, Business, or other related field

Experience:

  • 5 years with experience in business development sales activities
  • Fluent with Microsoft 365 Suite, especially PowerPoint
  • Industry knowledge of energy/oil and gas, engineering and construction, or manufacturing

Requirements

  • Flexible and willing to work after hours and across time zones, as needed
  • Must have a valid TX driver's license and reliable transportation
  • Approximately 20% travel required
  • Resides within 60 miles of the Houston, TX office
  • Hybrid work schedule with designated in-office days

Nice to have

  • Experience selling professional services
  • Understanding and experience with information management principles
  • Salesforce knowledge
  • HubSpot knowledge
  • Certification from an accredited sales training program (e.g., Sandler Training)
