We are seeking a dedicated and organized Program Coordinator to oversee the development and management of programs that support individuals with developmental disabilities/Aging Services. Responsibilities
- Develop, implement, and manage programs tailored to the needs of individuals with developmental disabilities.
- Supervise staff and volunteers, providing guidance and support to ensure effective program delivery.
- Foster relationships with stakeholders, including families, community organizations, and service providers.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation related to program activities and participant progress.
- Manage budgets effectively, ensuring resources are allocated appropriately for program success.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to enhance service delivery and address behavioral health needs.
- Conduct outreach efforts to promote programs and engage potential participants.
- Provide training and support for staff on best practices in program management and relationship building.
Qualifications
- 4 year Bachelors Degree
- Proven experience in management or program development, particularly within the social services sector.
- Familiarity with working with individuals with developmental disabilities is highly desirable.
- Strong relationship management skills, with the ability to build rapport with diverse groups.
- Administrative experience that includes record keeping, reporting, and compliance monitoring.
- Background in program management or supervising staff in a relevant field.
- Knowledge of budgeting principles and financial oversight related to program funding.
- Experience in social work or behavioral health is a plus.
