Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site Acute Care Physical Therapist role located in Waterbury, CT. The role involves evaluating and diagnosing patients to develop personalized treatment plans, implementing therapeutic interventions to restore function, and collaborating with other healthcare professionals to deliver comprehensive patient care. The Acute Care Physical Therapist will focus on enhancing mobility and quality of life for patients recovering from injuries, surgeries, or other medical conditions. Documenting patient progress and maintaining compliance with clinical records is also an integral part of this role.
Qualifications
- Expertise in patient evaluation, treatment planning, and therapeutic interventions for acute care rehabilitation
- Strong communication and collaboration skills for working with patients, families, and interdisciplinary teams
- Knowledge of maintaining accurate clinical records and ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations
- Proficiency in managing and improving mobility, strength, and functional independence
