The ideal candidate is dependable, self-motivated, and capable of handling a wide variety of maintenance tasks with minimal supervision. We are looking for someone who can not only perform repairs but also take ownership of projects, coordinate contractors, and ensure jobs are completed correctly, efficiently, and on schedule.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform general property maintenance and repairs.
- Diagnose and repair issues involving plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and carpentry.
- Complete work orders in a timely and professional manner.
- Coordinate and oversee subcontractors when specialized work is required.
- Organize, schedule, and expedite maintenance and renovation projects.
- Conduct property inspections and identify maintenance needs.
- Ensure all work is completed safely and in compliance with applicable codes and standards.
- Maintain accurate records of completed work and materials used.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in residential or commercial property maintenance.
- Strong working knowledge of:
- Carpentry
- Plumbing
- Electrical systems
- HVAC systems
- Ability to troubleshoot and solve maintenance issues independently.
- Experience managing multiple projects and coordinating vendors/subcontractors.
- Strong organizational, communication, and time-management skills.
- Must have a valid driver's license.
- Must have reliable transportation and be willing to travel between properties as needed.
- Must provide and maintain their own tools necessary to perform the job.
- Gas reimbursement will be provided
- Ability to lift, carry, and perform physically demanding work.
- Must pass a drug test
