What are the responsibilities and job description for the LPN Float Nurse position at Access Medical Clinic LLC?
We are looking to expand our team and are currently seeking to employ an LPN Clinic Float Nurse in our Urgent Care Clinics in and around the Ash Flat, AR area. This will include coverage in a 90 mile radius of Ash Flat, AR.
The following list is a snapshot of the common duties for this position:
- Monitor and record vital signs, medical history (surgical, family, etc)
- Perform phlebotomy procedures
- Assist with minor clinical procedures
- Point of care testing
- Administer medication, vaccinations
- Treat and assist patients with an illness or injury
- Gauge a patient's overall state of health
- Provide health education to patients and families
- Promote patient wellness
- Ensure appropriate legal and regulatory standards
- Referrals and Prior Authorizations
- Notify patients of test results
- Answer phones
- Perform registration duties as needed (verify insurance, update demographics, schedule appointment, etc)
License/Certification:
- Active, full, current and unrestricted LPN licensure
- BLS Certification (Preferred)
