Job Title: Mobile Maintenance Technician
Job Summary
The Mobile Maintenance Technician is responsible for traveling to multiple properties to perform general maintenance, repairs, and service requests. This role requires a self-motivated individual with strong troubleshooting skills who can work independently while maintaining high-quality standards and customer service. Vehicle to be provided.
Key Responsibilities
- Travel to assigned properties to complete maintenance and repair tasks
- Perform general repairs including:
- Drywall patching and painting
- Minor plumbing repairs (leaks, fixtures, toilet resets)
- Basic electrical work (light fixtures, outlets, switches)
- Door and window repairs/replacements
- Complete exterior maintenance such as:
- Pressure washing
- Minor carpentry and trim repairs
- Railing and deck repairs
- Diagnose issues and determine appropriate solutions in the field
- Communicate clearly with property managers, tenants, and team members
- Document work performed, including photos and notes
- Maintain tools, equipment, and company vehicle (if provided)
- Ensure all work is completed safely and in compliance with company standards
Qualifications
- 2 years of general maintenance or handyman experience preferred
- Strong knowledge of basic construction, plumbing, and electrical systems
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
- Ability to lift 50 lbs and work on ladders as needed
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills
Preferred Skills
- Experience in property management or apartment maintenance
- Familiarity with work order systems or mobile apps
- Basic understanding of preventative maintenance practices
Work Environment
- Field-based position traveling to multiple job sites daily
- Work performed indoors and outdoors in various weather conditions
- May require occasional evening or weekend work
