What are the responsibilities and job description for the Barista position at Access Management?
Surrounded by the natural beauty of Southwest Florida, Star Farms at Lakewood Ranch is a multigenerational lifestyle community that offers a unique experience tailored to our homeowners. The thoughtfully designed, 700-acre, gated features 1,500 single-family homes, paired villa retreats and townhomes with a variety of amenities, clubs and hospitality services. Opening soon will be select amenities including Trade Route a full-service café serving coffee, pastries, toasts and sandwiches. We are looking for a part-time baristas to be part of the grand opening team of this small and fast paced café.
Responsibilities
- Greet customers as they enter.
- Describe drink and food menus and answer questions regarding ingredients & preparation.
- Take orders while paying attention to details (e.g. preferences of coffee blend, dairy and sugar ratios)
- Prepare and server food and beverages following recipes.
- Operate point of sale system, receive and process payments (cash and credit cards)
- Maintain all cleanliness standards and follow opening and/or closing duties.
- Knowledge of proper operation and maintenance for coffee and food preparation equipment.
- Compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Light cleaning.
- Communicate customer feedback to the management team.
