Position OverviewAccess Mammoth is seeking a Development and Communications Coordinator to support fundraising, donor management, grant writing, and marketing communications.
This role combines development (fundraising) and communications (marketing, social media, and content creation) and is ideal for a candidate with experience in nonprofit development, CRM systems, and digital communications.
Key ResponsibilitiesFundraising & Development- Support fundraising campaigns, donor relations, and sponsorship outreach
- Plan and execute fundraising events (Classy, GiveSmart)
- Manage donor database (Salesforce CRM) and reporting
- Conduct grant research, writing, and reporting
- Track donations and ensure timely donor acknowledgments
- Build and maintain relationships with donors, sponsors, and partners
- Manage email marketing campaigns (Constant Contact)
- Oversee social media marketing (Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn)
- Create content: newsletters, press releases, website updates, donor communications
- Design marketing materials using Canva
- Maintain website and ensure SEO and accessibility best practices
- Monitor analytics, engagement, and brand consistency
- Support public relations and media outreach
- 2 years experience in nonprofit fundraising, development, or communications
- Experience with CRM systems (Salesforce preferred)
- Strong skills in grant writing, donor communications, and reporting
- Experience managing social media, email marketing, and digital content
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong organization, time management, and attention to detail
- Experience working with nonprofits or adaptive recreation programs
- Experience working with people with disabilities
- Familiarity with event planning and volunteer coordination
- Experience in outdoor recreation or seasonal programming environments
