Job Summary: The Senior Cost Analyst will support the Controller in all aspects of inventory accounting, cost accounting, financial analysis, and collaboration with Purchasing while providing guidance and support to the Inventory team. This role is responsible for ensuring accurate inventory valuation, timely financial reporting, and compliance with GAAP while partnering with finance and operational leaders to improve processes, reporting, and decision-maki
ng.

- ies:Own cost accounting processes, including standard costing, inventory reporting, variance analysis, and month-end close activit
- ies.Analyze product costs, labor, material usage, overhead, and production variances to identify trends and opportunities for improvem
- ent.Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly inventory usage analysis and Cost of Goods Sold (COGS) report
- ing.Review inventory transactions, cycle counts, physical inventories, and inventory valuation to ensure accuracy and completen
- ess.Partner closely with Purchasing to reconcile received and billed inventory and resolve discrepanc
- ies.Collaborate with laboratory and operations leadership to explain financial results, improve cost visibility, and support informed business decisi
- ons.Prepare accurate and meaningful reporting on inventory movement, purchasing trends, and product co
