Clinical Supervisor Duties and Responsibilities
- Oversee daily clinical operations and workflows to maintain efficiency and quality of care.
- Triage patient condition changes (e.g., infections, falls, behavioral changes, lab results) and coordinate appropriate interventions.
- Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations, company policies, and documentation standards.
- Collaborate with providers, administrative staff, and assisted living community partners to ensure seamless patient care.
- Monitor clinical staff performance, provide feedback, and implement improvement plans as needed.
- Maintain accurate and timely entry of patient information in the Electronic Health Record (EHR) system.
- Support communication between clinical staff, providers, patients, and families.
- Assist in onboarding and training new clinical team members.
- Prepare and present department performance updates to leadership as requested.
- Hours: Monday - Friday, 8:30 am - 5:00 pm at AHA Headquarters (Pico Office).
- Work closely with the Director of Clinical Operations (DOCO).
- LVN or RN HIGHLY preferred
- Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience in a healthcare setting, with a preference for experience in assisted living or senior care environments.
- Prior supervisory or leadership experience in a clinical setting is strongly preferred.
- Strong clinical assessment and triage skills.
- Proficiency with Electronic Health Records (EHR) systems.
- Excellent organizational, multitasking, and time management skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a professional, compassionate demeanor.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
