ACCESS Academy is looking for a Teacher Assistant who enjoys working with young children ages 5–8. Our Lower School serves students with learning differences and disabilities in a supportive, engaging classroom environment.

What You’ll Do
- Support the teacher with instruction, classroom activities, and small and large group learning.
- Help students with classroom routines, behavior, and transitions throughout the day.
- Prepare materials and help keep the classroom organized and ready for students.
- Supervise students in and outside the classroom, following established safety procedures.
- Encourage students’ social development and independence through learning and play.
- Lead classroom activities when the teacher is absent, as directed.
- Protect the confidentiality of student information.
Requirements
What you’ll need
- High school diploma or GED
- At least 18 years of age
- Previous experience working with children
